To all my friends and family,

I wish you a Merry Christmas. This day represents so many things to so many people that I wanted to share with you the true meaning of Christmas. Instead of quoting some biblical scripture, or preach a message on the birth of our Savior, I thought I would share with you a video that explains what Christmas truly stands for. Thursday Thinkback

Some thoughts from the past week and the upcoming weekend:

• We did a lot of things on Sunday!
• For such a busy service, it sure felt smooth.
• I really enjoyed the worship set this week.
• Pastor Jon and the creative team did an amazing job with the set.
• This Sunday's schedule will seem empty compared to last week (that's a good thing!)
• Have you heard we are doing a Christmas Concert?
• Did you know we are going to 3 services? (it starts January 4th)
• Are you serving yet at the church? (I need ushers and greeters)
• After this month I think I just might collapse for about 2 years. Can I do that?
• We planned this weekend's service on Monday, and it kinda got me excited for church.
• Did I mention Christmas is just 2 weeks away!
• Oh yeah, pick up your BTLOG Poster and tickets at church this sunday!

Howdy everyone!

Well, I hope that my last series of blog posts was educational for someone! Not too sure, as I didn't hear from too many of you!

So, now is the time for stress!

Just like so many of you, our family is going crazy right now. We have too many things going on or preparing to happen in the next few weeks.

I am not sure where it all came from. Yes, we naturally like to stay busy. It is how we are wired. Yet, for some reason, everything we have been doing all is coming to an end at the same time.

Autumn is pretty good at measuring my stress level and as she was pointing it out lately, I was trying to figure out what it was that wasn't helping me reset my stress level.

I began thinking about it and quickly realized that my schedule was so hectic, that I had not been reading through the Bible, nor had I been blogging. These 2 things are what help drain my stress and slow me down to focus on what is really important.

Let me encourage you this holiday season to take the time and remember why we do all the things we do in life!
